My name is Debbie & I have been doing childcare in my home since 1990. I started doing daycare when my son was 8 months old. He is now in high school and I am still in the business!!! The job is very rewarding and every day is a new challenge.
I have taken numerous classes in Child Development. I belong to the Family Day Care Association of Santa Clarita and I continue to attend workshops on Child Development. I love children - they are unique and very special in their OWN way!!!
Hughes Daycare operates as a loving family atmosphere. When you come into our daycare YOU BECOME FAMILY!
We serve 2 hot meals: Breakfast at 7:30am, lunch at about 11:00am and a snack is served at around 3:00pm.
Children, along with everyone, love to know what is coming next so we operate on a daily schedule.
Hughes Daycare is a "hands-on" experience. We do a lot of things! Storytime is one of our favorites, along with small & large motor skill activities, to mention a few things.
I am licensed for 12 children. My hours are 6am to 5:30pm. I watch children 1 year and up, but might make an exception for newborns up to one year.
I am in Canyon Country near White's Canyon.
